Bill McCorkell is a fourth-generation builder, second-generation architect and first-generation manufacturer. His passion for the environment in both its built and natural form culminated in the creation of Archiblox, a sustainable prefabricated building business he founded in 2011.
This platform has allowed Bill the opportunity to drill into his passion for delivering beautifully designed, sustainable buildings of all scales, to people all over Australia. Bill is passionate about architecturally-designed sustainable buildings and the intersection of architecture with prefabrication and new technologies.
As an Architectural graduate from the University of Melbourne, Bill has a holistic approach to design,
construction and development; providing clients with a unique perspective that enhances the building experience. Bill has worked in a number of national and international architectural practices on commercial, residential and institutional projects – most notable being Federation Square in Melbourne. Prior to founding Archiblox, Bill was Director of Melbourne architecture and interior design firm Techne, and Director of McCorkell Constructions, which has attributed to his well-rounded skill-set today.
